Have you ever wanted to compose a song, solo piece, or film score? Have you wanted to learn more about how a piece of music goes from concept to reality? At Northeast Iowa School of Music, you can learn from one of our professional, award-winning composers. You will learn the basics of the compositional process, instrumentation, and how to use music software to create your own, original scores.

Experience
Flynn is a professional composer for film, television, and concert-hall symphonic and choral music.
Flynn has composed and orchestrated the scores for a variety of films and television shows. His Hollywood music department credits include over 100 of the world’s biggest movies and television series, including Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, Frozen II, The Mandalorian, and many others.
Flynn’s concert works are performed regularly worldwide, including commissions and performances by major symphony orchestras, choirs, and ensembles in Japan, France, South Korea, China, Australia, Ukraine, the Czech Republic, Poland, Italy, Ireland, Slovenia, and throughout the U.S. His works consistently win or place as a finalist in composition contests around the world.
