Group Lessons & Classes
PRIVATE DUET & GROUP LESSONS
We offer private weekly duet and group lessons for students who prefer to learn in a group setting. Private group lessons are ideal for friends, family, or bandmates who would like regular practice as an ensemble under the guidance of an instructor.

CREATIVE AGING CLASSES
Creative Aging classes were designed to give students age 50 and up the opportunity to learn new skills as a group at a budget-friendly price. These classes include beginner musician options as well as some art classes. Last year’s round of Creative Aging classes included Beginner Piano, Beginner Ukulele, Beginner Guitar, Beginner Banjo, Printmaking, Watercolor Painting, and Memories of the heART, a course that gave participants the opportunity to express memories through various mediums including writing, collage, and theatre over the series of class meetings.
This fall, our offerings are Landscapes with Acrylics and beginner music classes including piano, violin, ukulele, guitar, and voice. Later this season, we will also be offering a special holiday themed class: Vocal Techniques & Christmas Carols!
L&MOP PRESCHOOL CONCERTS
NISOM’s Lollipops & Music for Our Preschoolers concert series is geared more towards entertainment than education, but gives young children exposure to music that is beneficial to their developing minds. L&MOP concerts are held at 10 AM on the second Saturday of the month at select locations and feature different musicians each month.
This year, L&MOP is expanding and will be offered all 12 months of the year and adding new locations for some of the concerts. We will be expanding our social media giveaways, so be sure to follow us on Facebook to participate!
